This dust was developed for the serious competition cook. We have used this on many food items including steaks, BBQ meats, beans, and everything in between.
The Competition Rub has spices that are a finer grind; therefore, the dust will penetrate the pores of the meat when marinating. This rub will "WOW" the judges with just one bite!
When we are cooking competition meats, this dust is added as base rub first. After the meat has smoked for an extended period of time, we add the Original Rub or the Texas Heat Rub before the final cooking in foil.
Ingredients: salt, paprika, spices, garlic, monosodium glutatmate, onion, and silicon dioxide (free flow agent)
